Ryler’s POV

“She’s inside, sir.”

“Don’t…” I stopped the servant from swiping the key card on the closed hotel room in front of us. “Let me handle it,” I added and lend my open palm at her.

She respectfully bow at me before handing me the key card. I wait for her to leave before I press the doorbell.

I heard the sound of the doorbell echoing inside her hotel room. After a few seconds of waiting, no one opened the door.

I sighed. It’s impossible that she did not hear it. I know what she is doing.

“Jeira, it’s me, Ryler,” I said casually.

She has a high sense of hearing. I know she’s already aware I’m here.

I heard footsteps approaching from the inside. I cocky my head as I wait for her to open her door. I heard the locks clanging against each other before the door finally opened.

“I thought you forgot that we are going to talk,” she said.
