Chapter 88

Ezra’s POV

The comfort of the bed and the thick duvet forces my body to stay. I look on the left side of my room to check the clock. It’s already 10 in the morning and I am still here in my room.

I actually think it’s a good thing to stay here inside. It’s been three days since I last saw Ryler. After that conversation, he did not sleep here in my room nor invited me to stay with him.

Another three consecutive knocks were heard in my door room. The knock has been going on for (if I am not mistaken) 3 hours now.

Someone knocked on my door as early as six in the morning. I do not have the energy to get up so I let it be. Eventually, they stopped for a couple of hours until they went back to wake me up again.

I don’t usually slack off, but these days, it’s been hard for me to get up and start my morning.

I stare at my currently closed door. Good thing no one dares to open the door unless I give them permission.

They already knocked thrice. I should open it now.
