Ryler’s POV

“I don’t care. Let them do what they want to do to her,” I answered with a blank expression.

Shiro looks at me boredly and shrug. Suddenly a small smirk flashes on his face. “I did not know you like sharing what’s yours.”

In my peripheral vision, I saw Roman aggressively stand on his seat, “Alpha, are you sure? That girl is your ma—”

“She isn’t my mate,” I cut him off.

I do not want to hear it. Her name and the word ‘my mate’ doesn’t suit to be used together in a sentence. I do not know why the mood goddess gave me that kind of mate. Maybe I did something bad in the past. That’s the only reason I can think of why my life is what it is today.

“Alright, I’m not going to question that,” Shiro replied and turn on his back to exit the room. I thought he was going to completely leave but halfway to the door, he once again looked at us—specifically to me.
