I woke up feeling a heavily weight on my chest and looked down to see a sleeping Beau and couldn't help but smile at his peaceful look. I woke up to the sound of screams and the scent of smoke. When Derek and I entered the cells that held the three hunters, I expected to find three battered and screaming men wanting to get out and kill but that wasn't what greeted us. Instead of three men wanting to kill us we found three young boys shaking and whimpering as they huddled together in a corner of the room. I looked at Derek who looked just as confused as I was. "Hey" I whispered and Beau looked up at the sound of my voice and gave me a tired smile "Hey" He murmured back before looking back down at the youngest of the three young hunters, Parker, who was fast asleep much like his brothers around Beau on his bed. I had seen him marching to the holding cells but nothing else since I was preoccupied keeping the hunters hiding in the woods away from the pack. * This chapter has a time skip so don't wonder why whatever happens here wasn't spoken about before*It's been a few weeks now since Beau and I mated and for the past couple days he's been feeling ill and it worried me.
