Never was the kind to think about dressing in white

Wasn't waiting on a prince to come riding into my life

Thought I was happy on my own

I furrowed my brows as I opened my eyes. This pace was not home. It was not my room. I looked around and saw trees as high as the sky, the sun shining like a diamond up in the sky. The sound of birds chirping on the branches mixed in with the gentle voice of the person singing. I took a deep breath and swallowed the knot in my throat before making my way further into this unknown pace.
