I looked across the yard to where Jessie was currently playing in the sandbox with my younger siblings, Cassie and Caesar and his younger brother Josh. Julianna had gone down for a nap not to long ago and was inside in the playpen along with Kyle, Marc's son and Lily, Alexa's daughter. I smiled as I watched him make a small mound only for the boys to crush it with their toy cars and Cassie to pout and cross her arms as her brother and friend ruined the mound. I was falling for this kid fast and hard but I didn't care. There was just something about him that pulls you in. I would've still gone after him if he wasn't my mate and I would've rejected whoever had been because I feel a connection with him something I doubt I'd ever feel with anyone had he not been my mate. I know her ejecting ones mate was a death sentence but I didn't care. I still wanted and will always want Jessie as my life partner.
