He's my child, right?

Cora’s POV

Without looking at his face, just his scent made me shiver down my spine. The world is too big, and even though we are living in the same country it is really enough for us to meet this early? I want to hide Clyde, if only I can put him in my pocket I will.

But for everything I want to do, there is none I can do right now. I have no courage to talk to him, my mind is not ready for something like this.

I feel Zafer’s hand holds mine, squeezing it as if telling me that everything is fine as long, he’s here with me. But I should not burden him like this. He’s not a part of my past, so I need to face it on my own.

“I just really want to talk to her, so if you excuse me then please let me have time alone with her.” He’s smiling yet his voice has the tone of commanding, he hasn’t changed.

“But we are about to go home, Cora is busy…” I interrupt Zafer by pulling his shirt, he looks at me in confusion. “What’s wrong?”

“I… I will talk to him, you guys just better wait here.” I said
