Abducted

Regaining consciousness hurt. The drilling headache felt like my brain was about to explode. I was blindfolded and gagged. The tight rope was binding my ankles and wrists together as if I was some kind of animal on its way to the slaughter house. I was cold. I could still feel my light dress on me, and my bare feet were freezing.

From the shakes and bumps that tossed my body around, I guessed that I was inside some vehicle, going in an unknown direction. I knew I had to find out more about the situation I was in. I lied on one side and started rubbing my face against the floor, hoping to remove my blindfold. I removed it from one eye, then I rolled over to the other side, and finally, the blindfold came off. Unfortunately, it didn't help much. It was dark and the only light came from a half-inch-diameter control bulb. Nonetheless, it was enough for me to realize I was inside the trunk.
