CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Extended work.

Stephany did not want the boys to linger behind her and she also did not want them to walk in the cold with her.

Mainly, she did not want any attention to be drawn to her. She was in a bad shape and felt weak and hated herself for what she felt.

January was still 45 days away and she believed it will be gone.

15 year old Stephany slept in the next day and even her mother's roars could not make her awake from her sullen state.

"Yo!"

Candy's cry brought Stephany back to reality. She was seated by the window at the Mall's Gallito's branch as she was bathed in the seeping sunlight.

Candy was waving her hands in front of her face in playful manner as she continued when she saw Stephany's eyes dart to her.

"We've been sitting here for the past 10 minutes and haven't ordered yet, are we getting a take-out?"

"Oohh!" She answered with no interest whatsoever.

"Oh! And what does oh means?" Candy asked.

"Just order what you need. I
