Whatever you wish, it takes struggle and seriousness to make it happen.

Xander’s gaze was fixed on Qeiza who was concentrating at her works. He had examined Qeiza’s face for two days from the distance.
“I’m pretty sure that she is Miss Qeiza,” Xander muttered several times to himself.
He opened Qeiza’s personal data file that he had gathered currently. The last data informed that his boss’ ex-wife had finished her graduate program since a few months ago at one of the most popular universities of this town.
Thus, it’s no surprise that she could get job here so easily. The problem was that the young woman he believed to be Qeiza was actually named Kim Ae Ri.
Xander had never heard that name before. Was this just a coincidence that those two women had similar face? Or had Qeiza really changed her identity secretly?
“Argh!” Xander growled in confusion and bit his fist.
How could he let Ansel know if he himself hadn’t been able to gather the valid evidences about his guess yet?
“So, is your work all day just daydreaming?” Ansel jolted, smashing a thick folder on to Xander’s desk.
“Aish! You’re shocking me!” Xander grumbled.
CTAK!
The knuckle of Ansel’s middle finger spontaneously landed on Xander’s head.
“Keep your eyes!” said Ansel.
It had been quite a while since he followed Xander’s gaze. Knowing that his personal assistant was immersed in Qeiza’s charm, his blood was boiling hot.
“She’s mine!”
“What?”
“Why? Something wrong with it?”
Xander was temporarily unable to react. He was stunned. Ansel was such in hurry to agree his divorce from Qeiza. Why in the hell did he claim that woman as his then? There must be something wrong with his brain.
“You’ve divorced your wife, Man!” Xander reminded Ansel.
“So what?” Ansel asked. “It’s a lucky coincidence, wasn’t it?”
Ansel’s face was so bright and he said confidently as if he had made a very right decision by agreeing to Qeiza’s divorce suit.
'Just wait till I find a proof that Kim Ae Ri is Qeiza.' Xander said. 'I wanna see if you still think that your divorce is a fortune or vice versa.'
Pitifully, all those words just echoed in his heart. He didn’t have the courage to hurl those words directly at Ansel.
“One day, you’ll regret it,” said Xander.
“No, no, no. No way!”
Ansel denied in a very sure tone of voice and his forefinger danced left and right firmly.
He turned to Qeiza who was strugling with her designs. His smile bloomed while seeing a cute expression showed by Qeiza when she drowned in her works.
“I’ve found my soulmate, Xander,” Ansel whispered. “She is the only woman I want.”
Ansel said in a hoarse voice filled with longing. His eyes glowed brightly as if they were full of the twinkling stars.
“She’s very stunning and unique, isn’t she?
Xander just shook his head, hearing Ansel’s compliment for Qeiza.
“She’s not more beautiful than your wife that you’ve divorced.”
Ansel spontaneously turned at Xander with a ferocious gaze as though he wanted to kill him in a blink. He bent down. His tall body was able to step over his personal assistant’s desk.
Ansel gripped Xander’s jawline strongly. “Once more time you remind me to that parasite woman, I won’t hesitate to send you back to our home country,” he threatened.
That’s right. For Ansel, Qeiza was just like a parasite that would kill her host slowly. Unluckily, his father had attached that parasite to him just by considering a ridiculous reason that his mother wanted an Indonesian daughter-in-low, like herself.
Fortunately, that parasite had chosen to separate herself by filing a divorce three months after his father passed away. How about his mother? Certainly, he had to keep that all in secret from his mother who was still in mourning.
“Up to you!” said Xander. “Don’t ever say that I’ve never warned you!”
Xander took the folder Ansel threw down earlier then he was busy with those documents. He was indifferent with Ansel’s tense face when the boss went back to his own office room.
***
Qeiza had just folded her prayer rug. She did a mid-day prayer in her room by partitioning the corner of the room, just enough for her to carry out her obligation to God without having to bother getting out of Ansel’s office.
Qeiza’s fresh face smiled bright after grabbing the watch she put on the desk. There’s still much time left to enjoy her lunch. But, before her hand reached the doorknob, the door was opened from the outside.
Ansel had already stood two steps away in front of her. His hand was carrying paper bags filled with food and drink.
“You’ve almost missed your lunch,” Ansel said.
He lifted the food box in his hand a little higher, nearly even up to the height of Qeiza’s face.
Ignoring Qeiza’s unpleasant expression and not waiting for her agreement, Ansel instantly broke in confidently.
He straight sat on the couch and opened the food box he took along with him.
“Come and sit here!” he invited. “I intentionally asked Xander to buy this food for you.”
Qeiza’s eyes narrowed. She couldn’t believe that Ansel could behave such a sweet. Her feeling was like flying up to the sky for receiving such a nice treatment. Why hadn’t he treated her as nice as that since the beginning? Why did that man pay attention to her after divorcing her?
If only once had Ansel acted like a husband treated his wife, probably she never had filed a divorce suit against him.
Qeiza took a deep breath while closing her eyes tightly, preventing the translucent grain that had been perched in the corners of her eyes from sliding down onto her cheeks and made her look weak.
“Thank you, but I’ve already had an appointment,” Qeiza refused Ansel’s offer as subtly as possible.
“You won’t go anywhere or meet anyone as long as I’m still here and you haven’t finished your meal yet.”
Both Ansel’s hands had clutched Qeiza’s shoulders firmly soon after he finished his words. No one knew when he got closer to her, Qeiza even didn’t notice him.
Qeiza tried to release herself from Ansel’s grasps, but he was very agile in reading her movements.
HOP!
Unpredictably, Ansel’s stocky arms had lifted her slim body and carried her toward the couch.
“You are crazy, Sir!” Qeiza insulted him as soon as he sat her on the couch.
Ansel smiled slightly. “I don’t like any kind of rejections,” he insisted. “So, be obedient and everything will be easy.”
“One more,” he added. “Keep that ‘Sir’ away. I do hate your formal attitude.”
Qeiza clenched her teeth, feeling so upset with the powerful attitude shown by Ansel.
“What’s wrong with the way I call you?” Qeiza protested. We’re business partners and it’s proper to be for—”
Qeiza’s rebuttal was interrupted when Ansel as fast as lightning stuffed her mouth with a spoonful of food.
Qeiza’s hazel eyes goggled. Her heart was annoyed to death by Ansel’s unpredictable action. She got more distempered when she saw that Ansel gave a satisfied smile because of his success in shutting up her mouth with that food.
It would be really impolite if she vomited it. Whether she liked it or not, she had no other choice than to chew and swallow the food.
Though Qeiza’s eyes splashed a war sight, Ansel didn’t care. His hand continuously moved up and down to feed Qeiza. Even, he purposefully kept away the spoon he was holding from Qeiza when she tried to grab it so that she could eat by herself.
“I’d have never let anyone else finish something that I’ve started,” Ansel said.
Qeiza felt burning with Ansel attitude. She found an opportunity to get away from him.
GREP!
As fast as lightning, Ansel’s left hand pulled Qeiza down to sit back on the couch when she rose to flee.
“Don’t ever try to run away from me, Ae Ri!”
Ansel stared fix at Qeiza’s face. His eyes looked sharp and deep, making Qeiza’s heart pounding as well as shuddered with horror.
Crossing the line will only cause troubles. *** “Ouch, I felt like I’ve just come back from a battle field.” Qeiza sank her butt on her chair, leaning back lethargic with her both hands dangling limply. She totally felt exhausted. “Did Mr. Malik treat you badly?” Qeiza was startled. She quickly fixed her sitting position. She cursed her carelessness for not paying attention to Chin Hwa’s desk. “You’ve come back?” asked Qeiza. “It’s supposed to be tomorrow, wasn’t it?” Chin Hwa walked up to Qeiza’s desk. “The schedule was supposed so, but the agenda moved forward so I could go home earlier.” “Ah!” Qeiza had nothing to say than ‘Ah’ in silence. She thought Chin Hwa was still abroad. “Tell me!” said Chin Hwa. “Did Mr. Malik treat you impolitely?” Qeiza exhaled hard. “No, he didn’t. But, he made me so tired.” “Huh? He often asked you to work overtime?” “Not really.” “So?” “I don’t know. I hate his dictatorial attitude,” Qeiza explained. “A bit possessive too.” Chin Hwa smile
If you want to catch a butterfly, just grow colorful flowers. Do not ever hunt them because all your efforts will end in vain. *** Qeiza’s heart pumped very fast. She wanted to fight back, but the power of the man that was dragging her was much stronger. When she realized that she was dragged outside of the restaurant through back door, Qeiza tried to elbow that man. “Ouch!” It’s heard the squalled groaning. Qeiza quickly turned around, being ready to launch a follow-up attack targeting the man’s personal asset. “Hold on, Ae Ri!” The man shouted, stopping Qeiza’s movement. “It’s me, Chin Hwa.” “Oppa?” Qeiza was dumbfounded. She didn’t expect that her boss would follow her. “Shshsh!” Chin Hwa hastily dragged Qeiza’s hand, hiding by walking hunched from car to car until arriving at his own car. “Get in quickly!” Chin Hwa commanded. His gaze continued to watch Ansel’s movement in the restaurant. It seemed that he took a glance at his watch on his wrist then rose from his seat.
Love is powerful addiction that can make a man lose control of his senses. *** “You aren’t allowed to park here, Sir!” The young policeman pointed at the blue sign with a circle and a red diagonal line. “Shit! All my lifetime, this is the first time I’m doing a foolish thing and making ashamed of myself,” Ansel grumbled. He leaned back his head on his seat of pride while looking up at the ceiling, still unbelieved that he could be so reckless just because of a woman. “I don’t seem to know you,” Xander commented. He sat on the couch by resting both his hands on his thighs. His fingers interlocked. Meanwhile, his gaze fixed on Ansel who was closing his eyes. “I don’t even know my own self,” Ansel replied without opening his eyes. Then there was a silence. Both of them were busy with their own thoughts, examining Ansel’s first experience that had just dealt with the law. *** “Oh Gosh! So, because of a woman your life could be messed up?” Xander yelled in disbelief after listeni
When you have no intention to find the light, then you’ll forever stay in the darkness. *** “I didn’t think you’re the new CEO of the company M.” “That’s it!” “Oh My God! Should we keep our distance from now on?” Ansel shrugged with a funny mimic. He didn’t also expect that the leader of the company which had become his business rival was his college friend. “It looks like that you’ve already known Mr. Song and Miss Kim very well,” said Ansel. He was affording to dig the information about Dae Hyun's and Qeiza's close relationship in an inconspicuous way. “Of course,” replied Dae Hyun. “We’ve ever become business partners too.” Dae Hyun took a glance at Chin Hwa. “Right, Mr. Song?” “It’s absolutely right!” Chin Hwa replied. Dae Hyun turned his attention to Qeiza. “Ah, Ae Ri … could we talk privately?” Without waiting for Qeiza’s reaction, Dae Hyun dragged her arm, walking fast out of the ballroom. Ansel’s biased eyes darkened. He hated watching that sight. If only he wasn’t
Once in a while, a prey is smarter than the hunter. *** Qeiza left her dresser with a flamboyant face. After she had been working like a prisoner in Ansel’s glass cage for almost a whole month, today she could breathe freely. The fashion show that was performed two days ago had become the finish line for her togetherness with Ansel. Now, she could go back to the embrace of peace, working at Chin Hwa’s office. Qeiza froze in front of her apartment door. A man was standing back to her, but he turned around soon after he heard the sound of the opening door. “Hi, Ae Ri!” Ansel greeted while serving his best smile. BANG! Qeiza reflexively moved backwards and slammed the door so hard. Her heart was pounding worriedly. “Why could he be here in this early morning?” she murmured. “He was absolutely a scary man.” Qeiza peeked through the peeping hole, making sure whether Ansel was still waiting for her in front of the door or had been leaving. “Shit!” Qeiza cursed while seeing that Ans
Lies will never end in happiness until whenever. *** Qeiza’s concentration in working was distracted by the phone ring. She glanced at her mobile phone that was lying on the corner of her desk lazily then continuing to focus her attention back to the designs she was drawing. She thought it was probably a prank call only. All this time, the one who had often called her while she was busy with her works was only Ansel. Currently, she didn’t take part in a design project with her ex-husband anymore. Thus, there’s no reason for him to disturb her perpetually. Unluckily, Qeiza couldn’t ignore that calls for any longer when her phone rang louder without any pauses. Beginning by taking a deep breath, Qeiza finally grabbed her phone. Her eyes narrowed a little bit while finding out an anonymous phone number occurred on the screen. However, she had no other choice than to accept the call. Qeiza’s expression changed all at once. She jumped from her seat. One of her hand moved swiftly, gra
Never let the nightmares of your past ruin your future! *** Instead of going back to her office, after escaping from the hospital, Qeiza asked the taxi driver to escort her to the bank of the Seine River. She was walking along the path on the bank of the Seine River with a feeling of uncertainty. Her eyes swept the beauty of the Eiffel Tower that seen obviously, hoping those amazing charms could get rid of all the worries that stuck in her chest. She truly didn’t understand why the fate kept making fun of her. She had been patient for years in waiting, cultivating the hope that one day Ansel would open his heart for her as she fell in love with him at the first sight while she was watching him saying the solemnization of a marriage on their wedding day. But, all her waiting led her to a painful hurt. When Ansel finally received her phone call, the thing she could hear was only a pampering woman’s voice followed by an intimate kiss. Qeiza’s heart broke into pieces like a glass tha
If you released a deer back into the jungle, so never hope you will easily catch her again. *** Qeiza had just taken a bath. Her body was still covered with a towel. Yet, the sound of knocks on her apartment door totally disturbed her. That noise sounded so rash and impatient, making Qeiza sick behind the sense of her wonder. 'Just let it be!' Qeiza thought. 'There’s probably a drunken neighbor.' Remembering her experience that there’s ever the other occupant of another apartment that did such action when he was drunk, Qeiza got calmer. She kept walking to the wardrobe. She smiled in relief when she could no longer hear the noise from her apartment door. That person might have been gone away. That’s she thought. “Ae Ri! Open the door!” Qeiza’s relief just actually stayed for a while. The insistent banging on her apartment door was heard again. It’s followed by the yell of a man who called her name. “Ansel?” Qeiza muttered. She couldn’t hide her astonishment after successfully
