Chapter Forty Nine: The Beast

“What?” he asked Dylan.

Sir Fabio got up and used that megaphone. “I’ve already chosen someone to play Beast, so the audition is over. All right, thank you,” said Sir Fabio.

“Sir, I didn’t come here to audition. I just went after Clark,” said Dylan.

“My bear!” Gaby said softly.

Clark heard this, so he quickly approached Gaby. “My bear!” said Clark, hugging Gaby

“You have a lovely voice…” said Gaby.

Clark scratched his head. “I never thought I could audition for this.”

“Yeah, thought you didn’t?” Gaby asked.

“Because there’s a kissing scene in here. I thought it was just Snow White,” said Clark.

Gaby giggled. “Yes, I’ve read the closing script.”

“Dylan is who they chose,” said Clark. “It’s not a big deal. It’s Dylan, your best friend and my best friend.”

Gaby smiled. “There’s a kissing scene, my bear. Are you okay with that?” said Gaby

Clark held both of Gaby’s cheeks. “I know Dylan. I would rather have him kiss you than some other man, lest I get into a fight,” said Clark.
