Chapter Twenty Nine: He's Driven Andrea Away

Clark didn’t realize he hadn’t spoken to Gaby in a while. Clark took a deep breath. He wanted to laugh because he and Gaby were arguing because of a scene in the film they were watching. He admired her beliefs as well.

‘Isn’t true love suffice?’

Clark turned to the woman when he saw her sleeping. He was bent over and not moving. All he could think was that he was still staring at her.

“Tsk! She is asleep now.” Clark says.

The movie they watched was still not over, but he had already turned it off. Clark positioned the woman to sleep comfortably on the couch. He even put her head on his lap. He looked at her beautiful face as she was asleep. She seemed deep asleep because she didn’t even wake up when he put her head on his lap.

‘Would you do the same if you were in his shoes? Will you let her leave, although she is willing to endure the pain to stay with you to the end?’
