The Eye

Nakuni hopped off of Trisha's shoulder and shifted into his jaguar form as his eyes flashed. "I would back off while some of you are still alive. I won't go easy on you just because you belong to the Council." 

Liliana's face scrunched up in a scowl. "What?" she demanded. "Dominic, slaughter that one. Eat him for all I care."

"He's a filthy shifter," Dominic grumbled as he gagged.

As Nakuni and Dominic met each other it left Rachel and Trisha with another protector gone. Rachel grabbed Trisha and attempted to shove her behind. "She's after you, get behind!"
