I immediately opened my eyes when I groped the mattress and I felt that no one was sleeping beside me, though I was still very sleepy. I patted the space but still, there was no Walker the fucker.

“Caine?” I gruffly sat and wrapped my body using the thin blanket that was keeping me warm after that passionate lovemaking. I don’t care if there are few drops of blood stains on it.
