Chapter 11 Settled

The werewolves saying they have to hurry, really meant it to be hurried. They ride at full speed all night without stopping. Erra and Narrah held tight for their precious lives as the beasts speed away, hooves thundering the ground. They only stopped once when Narrah and Erra have to relieve themselves.

The sun has already risen when they reached a clearing with a stream. They stopped for a drink and the two took the chance to wash their sticky faces and hands. They also stretched their rigid bones, relieving their aching backs.

The wolves scattered around and were still on their feet. Their eyes were vigilant at any sign of movement, even from afar. No one shifted into their human forms as they alternately took a drink from the stream.

Narrah and Erra ate a little of what is left of their food. They only got a short rest before Viddar nudged them for their departure. Narrah and Erra kept their silence as they mentally grimaced for another ordeal. They don't know how long
