63. The Last Mission

"Miss, Mister would like to speak—"

I took my bodyguard's cell phone. My phone is out of power and is charging. I returned to the inn which was in a small alley. A place that is not luxurious and closed. I need another disguise because El will have a grudge and will target me.

"Yeah, Nick, what's wrong?"

"Aren't you finished there yet?"

He must miss me. I also miss teasing him. For me, he is my angel, my guardian. "Tonight is the last, I'll finish everything. Maybe in a week, I'll be home."

He coughed and cleared his throat loudly. "Are you sick, Nick?" I asked worriedly. He said yesterday he was hospitalized due to spinal pain.

"Um, a little. If you can come home tomorrow, I want to meet you."

"For God's sake my best boyfriend. You can make a video call, let's change it, I still have a lot of time—" I persuaded him. He could be heard taking a tired breath.
