Derek's pov

"I want you to get mated with Tania" I wait for his response as I swallow hard unsure of his response.

He blinked twice as If trying to confirm the reality of things.

"I'm sorry Kyle, I know this is too much but I have my reasons" I add trying to convince him into doing my will.

"It's okay, I'll gladly be her mate if that's all you want '' Kyle responds, causing me to flinch a little.

I had expected him to throw fits, or ask me questions, maybe try to convince me a little but he agreed instantly.

"Thank you" I manage to say with a bitter taste on my tongue and a dejected filled voice.

"There's no need to thank me for anything, I'll do it all for her, she deserves the best.

Besides getting mated to her is better than letting her be with a pick like you who can't even stand up for himself to face his fears"

I could feel Kyle's words get shot at me like daggers, although he says it in the nastiest and rude manner he's still right.
