CHAPTER 71

{ Felix POV}

I am awake as early as possible, even before the sun is out. It is a big day for Lu and I, I immediately set out my clothes for the morning court session and once I walk out of my chambers, I can hear the clamouring and clambers of Royal servants already awake, I wonder if they ever sleep at all.

I spot a servant close to my chambers, so I call out to her.

"Your Highness, Prince Felix, auspicious morning today!"

"Good morning, do you know any Patricia of the Royal Kitchen, a cook?" I ask the royal servant quite straight forwardly without mincing words. She appears to ponder a little before she answers.

"Yes, your highness, I know a Patricia of the Royal kitchen, she returned to the capital in the evening of the previous day, a message came for her, one of her family members is sick and her presence was requested. After permission was taken from the Chief Royal Servant, she was granted leave till further notice. Her return is not definite, my Lord"
