CHAPTER 99

After the Opening, Samantha tried to distance her self from Eric but it felt like the forces that be was trying to bring them together at all cost. First it was Emerald telling her that she wouldn’t eat any other thing if it wasn’t Eric’s soup. That was how they became regular customers at Eric’s. And half of the time, Eric would give it to the free.

This made the relationship between Samantha and Eric become, some what friendly. On one day they had closed from work, she went over there to buy some food, then he began a conversation with her.

“Hey Sammy how was today at the shop” he started.

Samantha who didn’t have a confidante for a while started to pour out her feelings to him.

“Men! It’s been tiring” she went on to tell him about one case of the biggest cake she had everything made that almost ruined her Career. He laughed at her jokes and encouraged her, one way or the other. At the end of their conversation, Eric asked her out on a date.

Samantha was too happy to say no to him
