Chapter 56 - For the Love and Hate.

Nathan went to every hospital his secretary gave regarding kidney transplants. His third try was at the Department of Kidney Transplant.

"Sir, I'm sorry, but we have rules here. Every recipient must undergo a medical evaluation, showing a record of a good candidate for transplant." The nurse in the information booth starts.

"She's a cancer patient. Here kindly take a look at this. It's some of her records." Nathan explains.

"Well then, Sir, we'll place her on the transplant program's waiting list, evaluate and probably receive a kidney from a deceased donor."

"How long will it take?"

"She'll have to wait depending on many things, but it is primarily determined by the degree of matching between her and the donor. Some wait several years for a good match, while others get matched within a few months." The nurse explains.

"She's dying. We need it as soon as possible. I'm willing to pay!"

"I'm sorry, Sir, but it's impossible. Unless she has a family member, a spouse, parents, or siblings
