23. The Kiss

The driver's voice interrupted them both. Eric and Cassandra distanced themselves while smiling awkwardly. Without saying anything, Eric got out of the car and opened the door for Cassandra.

"Mr. Williams, don't bother. I can open the door by myself."

"Don't call me Mr. William outside of working hours. I have to open the door for you since I invited you here and it was quite a hassle. If it weren't for my grandmother wanting it."

"Oh no, it's an honor for the great madam William to invite me in person to have a diner with," said Cassandra blushing. The woman's cheeks were red and could be seen by Eric. His heart warmed, seeing the change in Cassandra's face. He did not realize his heart was already attracted to his sexy secretary.

"Dear Eric, you've come. Rossy, an old woman in her 70s, Eric's grandmother, was in the doorway with a big smile.
