Chapter 26

SKY POV

I couldn't shake off the uneasiness.

Everyone tried to reassure me that Kayden was actually the best swimmer among all of them, but that didn’t stop the butterflies to dance in my belly when they all leaped into the water and raced to their balloons. It was comic, the way they lapped the water and swam to the middle, all in rhythm; it was seriously something out of the dream.

“Here, drink this.” Te’a presented a glass of lemonade, and I thanked her before taking it, and then took a good swig before staring out into the water.

“Look who’s coming back.” I fixed my gaze hard into the water and saw a pink balloon charging in the direction of the yacht. A small smile stretched on my lips before I started waving my durag in the air. I am not sure he could see it, but at least I wanted him to know that I had his back, just like how he had mine from the beginning of the trip till now.
