Chapter 27

Freya's POV

After the movie with Andrew my dad came down as I was cleaning up to say goodnight to us.

"Freya, can I talk to you for a minute, before bed?"

Nodding to him I walked to the kitchen as I saw Andrew say goodnight before heading upstairs.

He looked back over his shoulder at me with a smile on his face making me smile before he was out of my line of sight.

I sat down at the counter facing my father, his expression was serious but there was a softness in his eyes, one he's always given me.

Like no matter how mad or strict he was being his eyes always let me know he love and cared for me more than I knew.

"If it's about Trevor, I told the school cops everything that happened, also that Andrew only did what he did to protect me."

"It's not that Frey, although I'm glad you told them everything that happened, they need to make sure that kid never sets foot in that school again.
