Chapter 42

Freya's POV

Walking through the shopping center that held my favorite little Italian restaurant I used to go to with my dad weekly, I walked inside.

Greeted by the hostess, she asked my name as if she didn't recognize me, her eyes blank of emotion, her normal happy, cheerful self was void from her face making me raise a brow at her.

"You know me, its Freya, remember?"

Her head tilted over to look at me but there was no one there, her eyes white, completely glazed over white. No colors no pupil, just blank creepy eyes before she turned her head back away from me before pointing back into the restraint where the tables were while her other hand held a menu out to me.

When I took the menu her hand dropped down to her side before she was staring off into space yet again.

I shook it off as I hesitantly walked back to the table I usually sit at, the one I sat at on Monday with Andrew when we came here for his first time.

The waiter didn't come to the table, there wasn't a single other custo
