Chapter 60

“What…” I asked, looking at my little Angel.

“I also want lipstick like you,” She said, pointing to my lip gloss.

“It's not lipstick, and you are not old enough to use it,” I said, combing her hair.

“But I want this” She pouted, and I chuckled.

“First be a good girl and have your breakfast,” I said, taking her in my arms.

“I want to avoid eating it” She wrinkled her nose looking at Italian Baked Eggs & Sausage.

“So, what do you want to eat,” I asked.

“Pancakes” Her eye lit up with her smile.

“I will make on weekends, Now eat it fast, or you will get late for school,” I said, putting a spoon in her mouth.

“Shopping,” She said, chewing her food.

“Don't talk while you are eating” I sternly told her. She pouts but chews her food quietly.

We had our breakfasts in silence. I know she wanted to ask about shopping, but I can't tell her that I can't take her shopping this Christmas. It still has one week for Christmas, and I am trying to save a little, so I can buy a good dress for her.
