Chapter 38 Decision making

I felt as though someone was watching me from the shadows. I couldn't help but turn my head to look at the window and there he was.

Nico was watching me through the window,his long dark hair covered half of his face and I couldn't see him clearly.Nico brushed the dark locks away from his face and tucked it behind his ear carefully.His action made me swallow hard and it gave me an opportunity to have a clear view of his face.

The corner of my lips curved into a smile and Nico smiled back at me.Isabella purred in my head and I could feel the mate bond getting the better of me.I couldn't believe that Nico and I had come this close over a short period of time.

I recalled our first kiss yesterday night in his room under the bright lights from the chandeliers.It made me feel things that I couldn't explain.Just minutes ago, Nicholas kissed me again.

"Take care,"Nicholas told me through the mind-link and I nodded at him. I felt concern in his voice and it made my heart melt into a pudd
