Joan’s POV

After that day, nothing was as I hoped it would be; Isaac was not in school anymore, I was noticed more by students, and some chose to be my friends, and in three months, it became my new 'normal'. I knew a whole load of people, but Anita never left my side; she made me promise I wouldn’t either, but college had a different plan; she was aiming for Princeton’s and I was aiming for Boston College, whispered my father.
