The father and son confronted each other like that for a long time before Greg finally compromised and sighed.

“Let’s talk.”

Ryan sneered, raised his hand, and looked at his watch. “Sorry, I have a meeting to attend later so I’ll be leaving first.”

He then turned around and left unceremoniously. Greg shouted angrily behind him, “Stop!”

Ryan left anyway. Greg’s face was red with anger.

Nora returned to the ward after seeing Ryan leave. Greg quickly suppressed his anger when he saw her come in.

“Nora, I’m a little hungry now. I want to drink some chicken soup. Go back and ask your mother to cook some for me.”

Nora was depressed. “Dad, you’re really good at giving me problems. Mom doesn’t even want to come and see you, so why would she cook soup for you?”

Greg was a little embarrassed but he persisted, “Just tell her that I’m seriously ill!”

Nora had no choice but to take his orders and go home.
