Tanya woke up late the next morning and got ready for college. She kept thinking about what happened between her and Colby last night and wondered how she was going to face Derek.

When she opened the door to leave, she realized that Colby's car was still parked outside. Was he not going to work today? It was unlike him to still be at home at this time. She had woken up late this morning because she went late to bed last night so it was already past ten.

She recalled how drunk he was last night and wondered if he was having a hangover. Could it be that he was in pain? Despite trying to convince herself that it was better for her to leave, she still found herself in front of Colby's door as she told herself that she would not feel at ease throughout the day if she did not confirm that he was doing okay.
