SEEING MORE OF EACH OTHER

Afraid to ask Colby any questions and confirm her worst fear, Tanya refused to step out of the car and kept staring at Colby who now had a solemn expression on his face.

He reached out his hand and took hold of Tanya's before helping her out of the car. As he held her by the hand and led her into the cemetery, Tanya felt her legs weaken and her feet became heavy with each step she took.

She kept telling herself not to think of the worst, if her grandma was dead Colby would have already told her a long time ago. He probably wanted to see someone else.

She became hopeful when she remembered that Colby had told her about the death of his wife and daughter. He was probably stopping by to see them before taking her out of the city to her grandma.
