Chase's POV

I wonder if Belinda is angry at me. She said she is not, but one never knows with a woman. I could not tell, and it looked like she was unhappy with me. I know I messed up in the past, but it was before she got back into my life. I love it, and I hope she is not angry with me because I cannot live without her. I cannot think of a life without her and Connor. She and Connor are the reason I live.

"Are you angry at me? I know I may stop in the past, but it was before you and Connor came into my life," I ask. The woman has been removed from our presence, and I do not want to see her again. She will never work for me again.

"Don't be silly. I'm not angry. What you did in your past has nothing to do with our relationship now," Belinda says as she moves closer and hugs me. I grab her and start kissing her. Belinda pushed me away. She looks up at me and smiles. It is not a far trip to Las Vegas. We will be there in half an hour.
