Chapter 37: Unplanned Date

Ryker’s POV

“We’re here.”

I glanced at Claire for a moment as we entered the gate to the factory. Everyone was surprised at my sudden, unannounced arrival. I immediately stopped the pain and turned to Claire, facing her mirror and fixing her makeup.

I smirked. “What are you doing?” I asked.

“I’m fixing myself. I don’t want to look like your nanny when the employees see us,” she said without looking at me.
