I held my oldest daughter as she fell apart in my arms. Her sobs tore at me as my own tears fell into her hair. I felt Abby walk up and join in our hug. Matt joined in and soon we were a mass of bodies in the middle of the waiting room crying. Jared came back and sat by Ryan. Ryan was quiet as he watched his mate cry. He blamed himself for Rose getting stabbed again. She tried to protect him. Fuck she tried to protect a big ass warrior as well and was hurt severely. Rose was tough as nails and as her dad I'm proud but pissed she could have died.

He sighed sadly as Jared sat by him.

"What's wrong Ryan? ",Jared said watching his family hold each other.

"its my fault Jared she was stabbed because she protected us. She jumped in the way so I wouldn't be stabbed. Fuck she was already stabbed once but to take it a second time was crazy. She could have died and yes it would have been all my fault",he cried out.
