Ryan and Sarah Chapter 18

Ryan is on border patrol so I broke the news without him. I collapsed on my bed after running from the table. I sob hard as I hug my pillow. I feel myself being picked up and brought into big muscular arms. Jake hugs me and puts me in his lap rubbing my back trying to soothe me. He is trying to soothe me but I'm hurt they just sat there not saying anything making me upset thinking they were disgusted.

"baby girl please don't cry. I am sorry we didn't say anything, we were just shocked. I swear baby we could never be disappointed in you honey we love you girls so much", he says rubbing my back as tears fall wetting his shirt. He strokes my hair and purrs I never knew wolves did this but they do it sounds frightening but it is opposite cause it comforts when you need it. A purr growl to ease worry and slow the heartbeat. All three use it on us girls when we are panicked or crying. I even noticed Ryan use it and I drift right off to sleep.

I continue to cry as he rocks me in his arms. M
