I got up in search of Mr. King, I kept wondering if I went too far.

"Is he mad?, Did I push him too hard?, What is wrong with me? My mind came up with different questions that I don't have answers to

I wandered around the restaurant searching but my mind was clouded and I didn't notice him walking behind me the whole time till he pulled me back.

"Let's go home," he said with a smile on his face.

I was lost.

"Why is he smiling?" I kept asking myself as I followed him back to the car.

"Why is he smiling?" I could not get the question out of my head.

He kept smiling though deep down he was extremely nervous.

I needed to change the mood, it was what I wanted but it felt a too hot and I didn't want to show how desperate I was or how much I crave for him

"Let's get some groceries, I miss your morning recipe," I said with a fake, I can't tell if the awkwardness was obvious but the look on his face said it all.

We got down at the grocery store to get some stuff and headed back to the car.
