Daring Biya

Biya just drifted into a deep slumber a while earlier when she woke up abruptly after seeing a horrible nightmare. As she put her hand on her heart, it was beating fast. Her face was all sweaty. She runs her eyes in the surroundings and finds herself in her room.

She just had a bad dream.

She saw that she was running barefoot in the scorching hot desert. There was not an indication of a single person till very far. A deep silence and an abandoned place, this is what she sees everywhere. And she feels she will lose her sanity in this eerie silence.

She cries and yells. She calls her mother, father, Haya, and Fahad. But no one was there to listen to her cry and yell. And at last, she got tired and sat in that abandoned place.

After seeing this dream, her eyes opened. She gets up from the bed and after fully filling the glass of water from the table, she gulps it in one breath.

She then sat on the sofa. Her heart was still throbbing badly.
