Chapter 57 Lindsay Rudeness

Josephine sat silently on the dining chair, looking at all the food that was served on the table with mixed feelings. She thought, while he had been waiting for her sleep, Nicholas had been looking around her kitchen.

It seemed the man had the intention of cooking something beforehand, because Josephine saw a pot half filled with water on the stove and a knife on the cutting board.

Josephine felt embarrassed, realizing that before that her fridge had been empty, only three eggs, a glass of orange juice, half a watermelon, half a purple cabbage and two carrots in it.

Nicholas must have been confused about what to cook with those limited ingredients, so he finally decided to order food from a restaurant. However, everything that was served on the table clearly came from a five-star restaurant and there were so many varieties, that even Josephine was confused about which one she would eat first.
