Dylan's POV
We had been searching for them for weeks, when I felt the mark be removed like last time, I knew she hadn’t run away. I think I knew all along and yet I let my anger cloud my judgement. After reading the letter I took our boys home and went about my life, pissed off and a completely different wolf.
Nobody would utter a word to me, they would leave notes and memos to remind me of things or to let me know what they needed. The only time I heard someone was through the link if there was a rogue and I would run and shed them to pieces without a second thought. I was a different man, a shattered man and I missed her. I dreamt of her every night and had a cold shower every morning to deal with the results of those. The only time my temper was under control was when I was around my boys, at least I had them. I woke up groggy, I lifted my hand to my face and realised it was wet. Peeling my heavy eyelids open i looked down and realised i was in a cold bath.
