"What do you mean the king poisoned his mate?" Jared asked. "It should be between me and you," Kai muttered.

"But why do you think he was absent much in her funeral?" Kai questioned. "And he slept with his Xylah during her mourning period,"he went further to say.

"Think about it, do you remember the time her majesty was poison on her own party, he wasn't really interested in the case until she pushed for it,"

"And Xylah maid was involved, why didn't he investigate her, instead he had her confirm in her room to protect her," he continued.

"It's all making sense," Jared mumbled. "Besides, look at the circumstances of her death, with her fighting skills, do you think she can easily be taken down by mere rogue wolves?"Kai asked.

"But he showed he loved her, we all saw how he took care of her, how would you explain that?" Jared asked.

"That's the point, he did all those things so he doesn't get suspected but I have a plan, one that he won't be able to escape from,"Kai replied.
