Chapter 20. Waiting

Amy had been waiting anxiously for two days and Jake still had no news. How much hope is extinguished, the more hope, the greater the disappointment?

In the blink of an eye, two days passed quickly, today was her last day in the palace, and tomorrow she had to leave the palace and return to her own home.

Although she wanted to stay here for a few days until she met Jake. But that is too selfish, she can only think for herself without thinking about her sick mother at home. She could not continue to stay here, because her mother was alone at home.
