Sinead and Alain chatted for a little longer before going downstairs.

Jasmine got up from the ground and saw Sinead and Alain heading her way.

A plot quickly hatched in her head, and she suddenly raised her hand and slapped her own face before sobbing, “I know you don’t like me, Eden. If you don’t want me to stay, I’ll leave. Why do you have to hit me?”

Eden was standing there with both hands in her pockets. She raised her eyebrow, smiling as she looked at Jasmine put on a show.

Sinead walked over and glanced at Jasmine. “What is it?”

Jasmine held her face, acting as if she was in a very miserable state. “Mrs. Ward, Eden said that she doesn’t want me to stay here. The only reason she agreed with me staying is so that you have a good impression of her. I said that I only wanted to take care of her, but she hit me instead.”
