Chapter 123- Lauveless
Grace came in overwhelmed with depression. Raymond who had already prepared to hit her with his own finding once she entered couldn't anymore.
"What is it?" he rushed to meet her.
Grace walked away from him without saying anything. She fell into a seat like she had collapsed.
Raymond sat down in a chair directly opposite her. He didn't bother asking any questions again.
He was sure she would speak up once she was ready to do so.
"Mayor Mount" Grace moaned finally. She was trying hard fighting within herself obviously to spit it out.
Raymond wondered what could be so hard for her to say about Mayor Mount.
"Something happened to him" he was eager and was asking questions when he didn't want to.
"He's fine" Grace stood up and walked some steps away.
Mayor Mount was fine. She was not supposed to be grieving this way if he was really fine.
