Chapter 143- Under Attack
Raymond didn't respond. He wasn't sure of what to say. Susan had obviously tagged him as a bad person right now.
"Who are you?" Susan turned away slightly from him.
"He is a thief!" the guard replied on his behalf.
Susan's face was full of pity and disappointment as well. She kept staring at him with a lot of questions definitely running through her mind.
"At the bay?" the guard spoke to his radio. "I'm coming right away" it seemed he would be leaving the basement soon.
"I have to be at the bay. I think the cops have arrived. Be careful with him. Although he is handcuffed. Do not move too close to the bars" he said to Susan and walked away.
"Did she left you because you are a petty thief?" she had obviously thought a lot about the issue of this theft.
She had even concluded in her mind that he was a thief. She stood aloof and watched Raymond who had decided not to say anything.
