Arabella's POV

I was completely taken aback when I saw that the person calling us from the car was Dallas. The man seemed excited, but I turned to look at Sean to see if he was aware of my brother's arrival.

I'd never heard that he was coming to town.

"Did you know he was coming here?" I asked, instantly checking the truth of the man's words from the expression on his face.

Sean shook his head, looking as clueless as I was. "He didn't say anything to me yesterday or this morning." He quickly clarified. "We did talk about our wedding a few days ago, but he asked us to come, not the other way around."

I was about to say something else to Sean, but I could hear the sound of a car door opening and then closing quite loudly and approaching footsteps. I turned my head to see Dallas sliding his glasses down the centre of the collar of his T-shirt and putting his hands in his pockets as he stared at us.
