"Can I sit here?" the man asked kindly.

I stared at the man, trying to get to know his face because he was way too friendly for someone who just met me. I usually greet people I don't know first, not vice versa, so I felt wary of him. "Please. But, sorry in advance, do we know each other?"

He smiled, looking happy as he seated herself next to me. He looked older than me but not much older than Sean or Dallas. "No, this is the first time I've met you."
