Chapter 52: Breathing again

Ari's POV

I stared out my window fully dressed in my corporate outfit. My hands were gently tucked away in both my pockets and even though I was staring at the swimming pool outside my window, I was barely seeing it. My mind was entirely on the errand I needed to run this morning.

There was a knock on the door and it jolted me back to reality.

I turned around and straightened my tie. It was probably one of the domestic staff coming to tell me that breakfast was ready or Cephas bringing in a cup of coffee.

I looked around and nothing was out of place. My bed was made and my space was clean enough if I ignored the stack of papers on the table by the window.

"Come in"

The door opened and my little brother walked in with wet hair.

"Hey, bro. Come to punch me again" I asked him.

"You are not going to let that go, are you?" Storm asked me and came closer.

"Nope! I plan to throw it in your face and milk it to my advantage one day, little dude. It's 7am and you are awake…why?"
