Chapter 92: Lee's request

Ari's pov

My next major encounter with Raven was a few days later when I went to the Riverside house to see Lee.

I was almost close to Lee's door when the door opened and I almost bumped into Raven. She had tears in her eyes.

I stopped and looked at her. This was awkward. I hated seeing girls cry. It made me uncomfortable.

"Oh, it's you. I thought it was Lee. What are you doing here?" She said hands akimbo.

"Looking for your brother. Are you alright?" I asked her.

"I am perfect. Now, go away" Raven almost slammed the door but my boot stopped it.

"What are you doing?" She asked me as she looked at me curiously.

"Believe me I am asking myself the same thing but the only answer that comes to mind is I was raised right. Just tell me why you are crying and I will be on my way" I said and fished out a tissue from my pocket and gave it to her.

She took it and blew her nose. She tried to give it back to me but I declined and took a step back.
