She sent a hot slap across Jane's face without warning.

"Mom why!?" Jane asked with tears evident in her voice as she fought the tears from streaming down her cheeks.

"Hehehe, you ask me why? I'll slap you a million times without regret if I could. Look at your father, he's like this because of you. You are the reason why he returned home this bitter that he won't even pay attention to me. That's what you both are good at, ignoring people no matter what they've done for you. You don't care."

"How is it me!" Jane angrily asked.

"Slap!" Mrs Rose slapped her again. "You don't raise your voice while talking to me. I'm your mother."

Apart from her husband's attitude which got her angry, she was angry because she believed Jane lied to them. She already had her doubts concerning the story Jane had told them concerning what transpired between herself and George at food paradise and with what Mr Jack had said, she believed George's story.
