Chapter 7

Two month later ,

Sarah is standing in the function wearing beautiful dress but smile is nowhere in her face .She is looking at the couple who are getting engaged .The man is Farhan ,who is going to be her soulmate ,her companion .but now he is getting engaged to his cousin Zoya .She closed her eyes and remember that on the day of their engagement function ,Farhan mother get heart attack .When she hospitalized ,she emotionally blackmail Farhan to not to marry Sarah and marry his cousin Zoya and under his mother pressure ,he finally agreed leaving Sarah  heart broken .

She come out of her trance ,when she heard clapping voice when the couple exchange their rings .She took a deep breath and walk to the stage to congratulate the couple .Her sister tried to stop her but she was determined and walk toward the couple.

She forward the bouquet toward the couple and congratulate them with smirk .Farhan get shocked to see Sarah here ,he look down in guilt when he saw her .Zoya get furious seeing her but composing herself ,she taunt her :" I have heard that you are shameless but now you have prove it .I mean you came to the engagement if your ex ".

Sarah smile at her and said: come on Zoya ,me and Farhan are friend first and then neighbours and them he was my fiancee .So ,I came here as his friend and neighbour".She give them tight smile and left .

Farhan excused himself and walk behind her ,he hold her but she angrily jerked her hand and said :" what do you want now ?".

Farhan composed himself and said :" I am sorry Sarah but you knew my condition ".Sarah sighed and said :" Farhan I am sad but  not angry on you .I can understand your situation ,anyone in this situation only choose his mother not any girl .I can understand and we always remain friend and do not worry you know my nature ,my angerness will vanish in few days .I just need time".Farhan nod and went back to stage .

Alya is lying on the bed and thinking about her life .She remember one month ago she broke up with Zain ,she remembers how Zain get job offer from America ,she was happy thinking she will settled in America after marriage but all her dream crashed when he refused the job saying he do not want to leave his country and his mother .They involved into huge fight and finally they get separated .

Few ago ,Zain called him telling he got job and he got engaged.She feel bad but she composed herself as now she realise that Arham is the best option for her .Her ammi is right ,Arham care about her ,he always agree with her after his father .He give her everything and her future will be secure .

After that day ,they did not talk with each other but now she is determined she will talk to him tomorrow and ask his forgiveness and later she will ask him to marry her .After that she let sleep consume  her.

Zain is standing with his would be wife ,Haya .His mother like her and pressurized him to get married to her and he finally agree for his mother happiness .After Alya ,it was difficult for him to move on or love Haya but he tried to .He is in Farhaan engagement function , as he was his friend and cousin .His trance broke when Haya offered him gulab jamun ( an indian sweet ) .He refused her and start using his phone .Haya sighed and look at her would be husband ,he on the first meeting informed her that he used to love some other girl but she broke his heart .He also added that he need time for adjustment .She first decided to refuse for marriage but his honesty attract him and she finally agreed for the marriage but now she has doubts ,did she took a good decision or not .Some time she get worried ,what if he never fall for her .What if he remain same ,he never forget about that girl and she will be always her unwanted wife .She took a deep sighed and walk to her sister keeping everything on her fate .

Asma and her mother talk to her father about  Asma and Arham marriage .Her father said :" I will try to talk bhai sahab (big brother ) about your marriage but I don not know will they agree or not ".

Asma mother assure him and said :" do not worry .After Alya refusal ,now Asma is only left and you know  your big brother think that it will be better to married off their children between cousins ,so out Asma will be best option for them after all they have seen her grow up .You know she like Arham ,please for our daughter try to talk ".Her husband nod and assure them he will talk .Mother daughter duo get happy .
