Chapter 29. Awakened

Ella woke up with beads of sweat on her forehead. Her body was drenched and her sheets soaked. The dream played in her head as she picked up a towel and wiped her face. She looked out the window as the sun began to rise in the far East. The red rays of sun reflected off her glass. She smiled knowing the tint protected her from the harsh rays of sun. She never did like the sun that much when she was younger. Her mother always scared her with the tale of her becoming a whole ten shades darker. She was afraid of becoming midnight black as her mother would call it.
